Little Mike checked the weather and decided things have been too calm, for too long, in South Florida. So, he called in the big guns from New York and after some high pressure blues in North Florida this week they are headed South. This performance at Arts Garage will be the first time in ten years he has toured the area and Mike is looking forward to seeing a lot of his old friends from “back in the day” when his blues were on a regular route through the area. Little Mike, of Little Mike & The Tornadoes - a powerhouse blues band from New York City, is blowing back into South Florida. Mike cut his teeth playing, recording and touring with the best of the best such as Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin and Jimmy Rogers. In addition, Little Mike ran his own band that toured the world and remembers the good times playing in South Florida in the 80s & 90s. Mike leads the band as a singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and a mean harmonica master. The band is well-known for its flawless, high energy blues sound, modeled after the great Chicago bands of the 50's. To top it off, Tony O will be making a rare appearance as the featured guest. Tony O is a "true blue" blues guitar legend, as well as one of the most sought after NYC recording artists. These performances are guaranteed to be blues storms you will want to be caught up in!
