----spread, that is. I have said it time and time again---I Love music!. Being human, I can love more than one thing at a time. The one thing that trumps music in my world is football---Pop Warner to the Super Bowl.
Last night there were 2 televised games that precluded my going out to listen to live music. TCU vs. LSU and Georgia vs. Clemson. I called my traveling buddy Q.T. Goldstein in California. He is known to make an occasional wager. Q.T. is the one who accompanied me on my move from CA. to FL. The journey took 26 days, Canyon Country to Ft. Lauderdale. Why? We stopped at every casino, racetrack and "jook joint" along the way. Q.T. informed me that the over and under in the Clemson game was 77 1/2. Clemson favored by 2. How can any football fan resist watching that kind of football or one like TCU/LSU where every guy wearing a helmet has played the game since their last diaper change. I totally succumbed to footballs siren song, watching 2 games at once. I apologize to all my musician friends who have become accustomed to seeing my ugly mug at venues all over South Florida. It is that time of the year. Life is a road filled with choices. Music reviews will probably be restricted to weekday nights----except Mondays----.
Q.T. had picked the under and Clemson-----The 26 day trips total cost to me after expenses(lodging, food, gas, entertainment, laundry, winnings and losings) was $28 U.S.. No, I cannot divulge Mr. G's phone number or other contact information!!!! Sunday JAZZ Brunch at Riverwalk---leaving now...
