VENUE
The venue chosen for the event is Avenue D Jazz & Blues on South Miami Avenue - whose specialty are Jazz & Blues events which will make for a beautiful evening of Jazz in the ideal scenario for this concert.  ( www.avenuedjazz.com )

In October 2012, Landestoy Enterprises presented a completely new and exiting concept from the Dominican Republic:  The South Florida Dominican Jazz Fest. A multicultural event that brought to Florida the best Jazz currently being made by musicians in the Dominican Republic as well as Dominicans living abroad.

At this event, Miami witnessed the Jazz proposals from the land that gave Merengue & Bachata to the rest of the world. Three groups that played various genres of Jazz, in fusions with the rich native rhythms of the Dominican Republic, made top quality presentations. CUBAOCHO Art & Research Center was the venue chosen for the concerts and from early in the evening an avid jazz loving audience packed the locale.

The level of success was such, that both the City of Miami, through its Mayor – Tomas Regalado, as well as the Miami-Dade County, through its Director – Joe Martinez, officially declared October 19th as ¨South Florida Dominican Jazz Fest Day¨.

The strategic Alliance between Landestoy Enterprises & Jazz en Dominicana of introducing ¨Dominican Jazz¨ to South Florida far exceeded the expectations, and, since the end of last year’s event, calls and e-mails have not stopped – asking about the 2013 version.

On Saturday, October 19th, for one complete evening, jazz lovers from Miami and throughout the State of Florida will be able to once again enjoy the best talents from the Dominican Republic and the United States. Groups that  are considered top performers locally and internationally – the mix of styles will make for an exciting and electrifying evening of jazz!!!
