The Brevard Music Group and Valkaria Aviation Association are pleased to announce the Space Coast ROCK “N” BLUES FESTIVAL on Sunday, November 24, 2013 from 12:30 to 8:30 pm.  It will be a full day of great music with food and beverage vendors, a kid’s zone, airplane displays, a remote airplane area, raffles for airplane rides – and much more!

JOHNNY WINTER, Grammy winning, Blues Hall of Fame guitarist will headline the festival. Johnny’s Texas guitar tradition runs deep with a gutsy school of blues playing, marked by thick tones, aggressive attack and tons of technique, all delivered in a flamboyant, swaggering style that is endemic to the Lone Star State. Johnny Winter’s name ranks at the top of the Texas guitar slinger style, with his recent Grammy nominated “I’m a Bluesman” disc on Virgin/EMI adding to his Texas sized reputation, he is an international ambassador for the rocking Texas blues that is still going strong!

ALBERT CASTIGLIA, Bad Boy of Blues guitarist, singer and songwriter was named Best Blues Guitarist in Miami in 1997. He toured internationally with legendary harmonica player Junior Wells, and Atlanta–based blues belter Sandra Hall. His 2008 release “These Are The Days” demonstrates Castiglia’s mature guitar styling and soul-filled vocals, which some say are reminiscent of Van Morrison. Given that he’s young by blues standards, and has a depth and breadth of live, studio and life experience it is said that Castiglia may become a major force behind the blues and rock rebirth.

SATISFACTION, is the international touring tribute show dedicated to the “World’s Greatest Rock & Roll Band.” This glamorous show has been in production and touring since 2001 with the likes of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and supporting cast bringing a colorful performance to over 50 years of classic hits. THE SPACE COAST ROCK “N” BLUES FESTIVAL will also present popular local bands THE USUAL SUSPECTS, DAVE KURY BAND, ANNA DELGADO and JOHN CONDON.
