Red-hot blues and ice-cold brews are on tap for the First Annual Casselberry Craft Beer & Blues Festival. This new event, held Friday, Nov. 8 from 5 - 9:00 p.m. at Lake Concord Park (located at 95 Triplet Lake Dr.), will feature a variety of premium craft beers along with undulating groove sounds  by some of the best local blues bands in the Central Florida area.

This scorching blues event kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with The Jeff Howell Blues Band, bringing their porch-pickin' unique brand of Louisiana acoustic blues and rock and roll to the stage. Starting at 6:30 is the southern-fried funk, blue-eyed soul and scorching slide guitar music of the seven hi-fidelity members of The Honeyslides. Highlighting the show at 8:00, will be The Legendary JC's, a funk band infused with R&B that offers a different and unique experience with every performance.

More than 14 gourmet food trucks from The Food Truck Bazaar

(www.thefoodtruckbazaar) will offer delicious culinary delights that range from mouth watering flatbread pizzas and Bar-B-Q to scrumptious frosted cupcakes and fruit-filled crepes. 

Let's not forget shopping. The festival includes a park full of art and specialty vendors displaying their works of art as you stroll and enjoy the live blues entertainment. Make sure to stop by and visit the booth of featured "Artist of the Month", Tony Borges. This local artisan is well-known for creating intricate hand-crafted boxes from a variety of beautiful exotic and domestic woods.  Each box is unique and would make a great gift for the holidays.
