Kenny Drew Jr. Trio to Open Tampa Jazz Club's Concert Season in Ybor City

The Tampa Jazz Club proudly presents a concert celebrating the release of the new ‘Coral Sea’ cd by pianist Kenny Drew, Jr.  It’s Kenny’s first trio recording in several years, and features two of his best original pieces along with gems by Bill Evans, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and Dave Brubeck. The prodigiously gifted pianist will be joined by bassist Richard Drexler and drummer Marty Morell (7 years with Bill Evans’ Trio) - both of whom are faculty members at UCF in Orlando. Don’t miss this afternoon of world-class jazz, in a beautiful concert setting!

$20/ $15 club members, $10 students with ID (complimentary to HCC students and staff)

The Theater is on the corner of Palm Avenue & 14th St. (Republica de Cuba), with free theater and on-street parking, and the Palm Avenue Garage is one block west.
