Eddie Metz Jr. Trio

January 16, 2013

This star studded classic jazz piano trio makes a return performance

and features Eddie Metz Jr. (drums), Rossano Sportiello (piano),

and Nicki Parrott (bass and vocals). This program will  consist

 of standards, selections from the Great American Songbook and more.

Jazz Professors - Bossas, Ballads and More

Led by University of Central Florida jazz professor Jeff Rupert,

this quartet also feature fellow UCF professors Marty Morell (drums),

Per Danielsson (piano) and Richard Drexler (bass).

Well-known Miami saxophonist Ed Calle makes his first performance

on the Jazz Series with a talented quartet presenting a varied program of

Latin, standards, and other well–known selections.

Florida Jazz All Stars

All-star Florida lineup includes Clyde Conner (drums),

Mark Neuenschwander (bass), Allan Vache (clarinet),
Charlie Bertini (trumpet), William Allred (trombone), and

Jeff Phillips (piano) presents an evening of swing music at its best.

Southern Fried Jazz Band

The Southern Fried Jazz Band offers some of the most refreshing

and authentic Dixieland jazz music on the scene today. The show depicts

 the evolution of early jazz in America from the levees and cotton fields of

Louisiana up the Mississippi to the early jazz clubs in Chicago. Great music

 blends with the narration and anecdotes of leader Don Edwards provides the

making of an unforgettable experience for audiences around the country.
