Think the Gipsy Kings meets The Eagles, Segovia, & Broadway! Guitars on Fire stars Alex Fox. This Master Guitarist, showman, composer and recording artist, his sons David & Sebastian, and their band do an upbeat show that has thrilled audiences worldwide! 

With his virtuoso Guitar style, Alex Fox moves all over the stage, like no other, playing the guitar machine gun style, even behind his head! Guitars on Fire: The Alex Fox Experience is an exciting fusion of classical, pop and flamenco rhythms with a rock star flair that has audiences all over the world cheering. They have even had the honor to perform for President Clinton, Mr. John Kerry, the President of Lebanon, the President of Turkey, Italian designer Versace, Prince Rainier of Monaco, the Queen of Spain and many other public figures.

Guitars on Fire: The Alex Fox Experience has recently released a full concert DVD as well as 8 CDs of original and popular tunes. Their original music is so popular worldwide that there are even Youtube videos of kids in many countries mimicking Alex Fox’s songs on the guitar.

The Alex Fox Experience

Alex Fox, has earned his reputation as “one of the finest, most respected guitarists/ composers of our time” and has been called “a saint of music”, “ a dynamic showman who not so much plays his acoustic guitar as makes love to it”. Guitars on Fire: The Alex Fox Experience is Alex’s ensemble formed with his sons, Sebastian and David, who are accomplished in their own right, and his amazing band.

It has been said,“If you have even a little music in your soul, you won’t be able to resist the music of Guitars on Fire. The music gets inside you and lifts your spirits.”

Alejandro Acosta-Fox moved from his native Argentina to Miami in 1984 and established his credentials as a composer, showman, and independent recording artist, performing for many years at one of Miami’s most popular locations: The Art Deco District in South Beach. He soon became a South Beach Legend by taking his love for a wide variety of music, including the great classical-guitarist Andres Segovia, Paco de Lucia, Gipsy Kings, Carlos Jobim, Jimmy Hendrix, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Genesis and developing his thrilling stage performance style.

Guitars on Fire: The Alex Fox Experience have performed all over the world from Dubai to Cannes, from Greece to Indonesia, to Lincoln Center in NYC and all throughout the United States including the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Variety Arts Theater in Los Angeles, The Silver Springs MD Jazz Festival, and PACs in Chicago, Dallas, Ft Lauderdale and San Francisco. He has had the honor to perform for President Clinton, Mr. John Kerry, the President of Lebanon, the President of Turkey, Italian designer Versace, Prince Rainier of Monaco, the Queen of Spain and many other public figures.

Some of career highlights are:

• Recorded with Julio Iglesias
• Opened for the greatest percussionist of all time Tito Puente at the Istanbul Amphitheatre
• Opened for “The Eagles” at the Fountaine Bleau in Miami Beach
• Performed for 12,000 people in Beirut at the Bacardi Jazz Festival
• On the Approved Artist Roster for The Kennedy Center 

Alex Fox has made several appearances on American TV and Film (Good Morning L.A., Channel 4, America’s Most Wanted, QVC, The Holy Man, etc.)

Performing with his live band, Guitars on Fire, Alex Fox has taken his music to another level. GOF features sons, David Fox as songwriter and performer and Sebastian Fox, both on guitar (Sebastian had the honor of performing with Luciano Pavarotti and the Palm Beach Symphony).

President Bill Clinton said about Alex Fox, “ … you to indulge my passion for music by sharing your work with me.”

Alex Fox has performed in 38 countries around the world and along with Guitars on Fire: The Alex Fox Experience has recently released a full concert DVD. Alex and the Band perform benefits for many charitable causes and will soon release their 9th CD featuring many original compositions.
