Pop Ferguson Blues Heritage Festival VII

Come to the North Carolina mountains on June 12-13, 2015 to cool off and enjoy some of the finest blues music this side of anywhere! The Pop Ferguson Blues Heritage Festival VII offers blues music in the truest form. Our line-up includes 8 blues Grammy winners and/or nominees.
This two-day music event offers over 18 Blues performances on three stages. The festival was proud to honor for the past seven years, blues legends from around the country, all of whom gave stellar performances for their fans. This year’s festival will honor yet another outstanding group of legends, but fans will have to wait until February to see who will be the 2015 honorees.
Pop Ferguson Blues will also award one young performer with a $5,000 scholarship, in its second year “Cuttin’ Heads” challenge. The rules are simple. You must be 18 years old or younger and perform two traditional blues or gospel songs of your choice.
In addition to great music, great food and warm weather, we invite you to come early to visit some of Lenoir’s restaurants and many attractions. With almost 150 places to dine and nearly 100 interesting local places to visit, you may want to extend your stay in Lenoir to experience the mecca of southern art and music culture.
