Southwest Florida Blues Festival NEWS

The Matlacha Mariners, who present The Southwest Florida Blues Festival each year, have a great opportunity to Raise More Money for our local charities but we need your help. 

Recently (Jerry Tolliver) was nominated by Carol Suran of Bouchard Insurance a Fort Myers agency a for the Safeco community hero award and was selected for a $5000 award that will be issued to the Matlacha Mariners. There were 16 award recipients from 172 applicants.

We have a second chance to be awarded additional money, the winner and runner up of this next phase of the contest will receive 5 to 10,000 dollars for their local charities.

All we need you to do is go to the link below, scroll down the page until you find Jerry Tolliver's name and photograph and vote for him, whoever gets the most votes wins the additional money provided by Safeco insurance as part of their community hero award.

I have worked with Jerry for four years now and will attest to him deserving this recognition and his organization as being deserving of the award.

Please remember "you can vote once every 24 hours" until the campaign ends. Voting ends 10 a.m. PDT June 3, 2013

Since this is a popular vote contest, we ask you to e-mail all your friends and ask them to vote for Jerry, post this on your Facebook pages, your "Linkdin" networks, and any other way you can get people to vote for Jerry because a vote for Jerry Tolliver is a vote for the Matlacha mariners to receive one of the two remaining Safeco awards.
