JBF EMAIL SERVICE CHANGE:
Jazz Blues Florida is moving its email service from Rackspace to another provider following ongoing concerns involving email delivery and reliability, spam/server-reputation issues, disappearing or inaccessible email, and declining support experiences reported by Rackspace customers. During the transition, there may be temporary sending or receiving issues; these should be correctable as the new service and domain settings are established.
Going forward, JBF email will be sent from and received at Charlie@JazzBluesFlorida.com. The former sending address, Charlie.Boyer@JazzBluesFlorida.com, will remain active for incoming mail only and will forward to Charlie@JazzBluesFlorida.com.
For businesses currently relying on Rackspace Email: these are real issues worth investigating and planning for now. Based on JBF's experience and recent reports from other Rackspace customers, it may be wise to review email hosting alternatives and have a migration plan in place before a service or deliverability problem turns the change into an emergency.
