Earl's Hideaway 8th Annual Memorial Day Weekend EARL'S FEST and Veterans Ceremony begins on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 1 PM. There is a RIDE IN for Bikers from the old CVS Drugs, corner of Roseland Rd and U.S. #1 in Sebastian at 12:30, with the line up starting at noon. ALL BIKERS, VETERANS & their GUESTS are invited to attend. Master of Ceremonies, Col. Martin Zickert, U.S.A.F., Ret, will be introducing our dignitaries, which include Chaplain Dave Newhart, Councilwoman Andrea Coy, Gold Star MOM Michelle Dale, Congressman Bill Posey's Representative, Marine Rob Medina, Indian River Woodcarvers Lloyd Lasemby's Purple Heart Project, various soloists and SoAL, American Legion Rider, Peter Pooz. There will be an Honor Guard March, a special video presentation on the Vietnam War, wreath placement and Rifle Volley at our Memorial Flag corner. All are invited to attend.
EARL'S FEST, an the 8th Annual Music Event begins on Sat., May 23 immediately following the Ceremony. Last year 1000's of people attended this wonderful 3 day event. The music begins at 2 pm each day and features some of the best there is.There will be food and beverages and the Sebastian Lions Club will be on hand helping to raise money for local charity UPWARD AMERICAN VETERANS on behalf of the Indian River Veterans Council. 100% of the proceeds from the raffles, 50/50, popcorn sales and STARS of AMERICA Board will go to UAV.
Saturday, May 23:
Memorial Day Ceremony.
Noon: Biker Lineup & Ride to Earl's Along Indian River Drive.
1pm: Ceremony to include Military Music, Wreath
Ceremony, 21 Gun Salute and special surprises.
