The all-new Mount Dora Blues & Groove Weekend continues the tradition of bringing fabulous Blues Music to the Mount Dora Waterfront in the gorgeous lakefront Elizabeth Evans Park. The event is it's 7th year and has a experienced tremendous growth in the previous six years by featuring such artists as Leon Russell, Chris Simmons, Thomas Wynn & the Believers and a host of others too numerous to mention.
The event is now produced by VisitMountDora(tm), the not-for-profit group in Mount Dora comprised of 90+ downtown businesses and organizations dedicated to putting feet on the street of downtown Mount Dora. The event is produced in partnership with Full Sail University out of Winter Park, Florida and is actual course curriculum for students in the Concerts & Promotions classes. This allows a 'hands-on' experience for the Full Sail students and provides VisitMountDora(tm) with much needed talent and expertise otherwise cost prohibitive.
