Here is a good visual of why we do not recommend using ONLY the email blast piece of our promotion platform. The graph shows that ALL of our blasts have a higher open rate than the industry standard, which is to be expected because of the highly defined and refined niche marketing practices we follow. This said, the LOWEST of our higher-than-industry rates are consistently those that are email blast only placements, followed by multiple sends of the same message.
Our reasoning is that quality marketing/promotion is a basic process of delivering a consistent message to an interested audience over a period of time through multiple media. Technology has not changed this; only the delivery mechanisms. So, bottom line - when planning and budgeting to do promotion, increase the effectiveness of every placement by utilizing the full platform (email blasts & news blog postings, banner ads, display ads in the magazine and premium listings) to make sure your message is communicated fully and properly to deliver the greatest value back to you on your marketing investment. Each part increases the effectiveness of the others and the discounts given for using multiple parts compounds your return.
