Florida Blues Societies fielded the most representatives to the IBC for this year's competition than any other state in the nation or country in the world other the U.S. Thirteen representatives competed (one Youth-Showcase, five solo/dou acts and seven bands), of which three solo/duo acts and three bands advanced to the semi-final round.
The 30th IBC semi-final competition was held Friday, January 24, 2014. Competitors representing Florida that advanced through the local competitions and the quarter-finals into the semi-finals were:
