King muDDfish
Friday, April 10, 2009
Thirty-five years ago, King muDDfish was spawned by teenaged friends Mike Edwards and Dan Newman. Percussionist Jerry Crepeau joined the mix in 1973 and Joel Kobelin added his bass. Soon their vision of the “new eclectic Blues movement” was launched on an unsuspecting public.
Their 2004 release, Hook Water Wolf, garnered a Blues Foundation nomination for “Best Self-Produced Blues CD of the Year.” Their most recent CD “No Cover” from 2006 features all originals and garnered yet another Blues Foundation nomination. Performing from The Keys to Panama City, Fla., King muDDfish reflect the whole history of The Blues in their exciting shows and are picking up fans by the thousands. See their MySpace site at WWW.MySpace.Com/kingmuddfish.
