Family entertainment promises to bebetter than ever at new outdoor, ocean park venue
Following a brief dedication ceremony led by County officials, the talented Jupiter High School Jazz Combo will treat area residents to live music at the opening of the new Seabreeze Amphitheater in Jupiter on Saturday, April 18. The public is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs and join in the dedication celebration which will begin at 10:00 am and conclude by 11:30 am. Admission is free.

The Carlin Park amphitheater has long been a popular setting for a wide variety of special events and music and theatrical performances. Anyone who hasn’t visited the park recently, however, will soon discover that the amphitheater has been transformed into a magnificent outdoor venue that truly captures the essence of South Florida outdoor entertainment. It has been appropriately renamed Seabreeze.

Seabreeze Amphitheater includes a covered stage with sound and light rigging and power. The amphitheater also includes dressing rooms, a green room, private restrooms, and storage for props and costumes. The outdoor grass festival seating can accommodate up to 1,500 people.
County special events staff are already busy planning affordable, family-friendly entertainment, including concerts, live theater productions, and other exciting events. Following the dedication event and live jazz performance on Saturday, April 18, the Safe Harbor Celebrity Dog Wash is scheduled for the afternoon of May 16, and Sweet Justice will perform live Reggae music at this ocean-side venue on June 13 (free admission). Shakespeare by the Sea will make their debut in their new home with a free performance of a Midsummer Night’s Dream July 16-19 and July 23-26.

Seabreeze Amphitheater is operated by the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department and is located in Carlin Park, 750 South SR A1A, in Jupiter.
