Special Considerations
• My IBC week pass was gifted by a friend and longtime JBF supporter who purchased early but could not attend.
• A bag of travel food and a case of water were packed at home; costs not tracked (taken from existing stock).
• The hotel rate included daily breakfast.
• A stop in Birmingham on the return trip for a show ($15) was not included, as it was not essential to the trip.
• I judged two nights; a meal and soft drinks (under $15) were provided each night.
• I was recovering from a lingering cold dating back to Christmas, which limited participation in non-judging events and reduced food and beverage expenses.
