From Mississippi, Texas and Louisiana
The Suncoast Blues Festival will be
held Friday, April 24, 2015 and Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds,
3000 Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida 34237 and will feature artists Bobby
Rush, Smokin’ Joe Kubek and Bnois King, Eden Brent, Zac Harmon,
Vasti Jackson and Mr. Sipp. Friday night is a FREE concert and features RJ
Howson Band and Lauren Mitchell Band.
Please bring a canned food item to be donated to local charity.
The
Suncoast Blues Festival is produced by Jack Sullivan, CEO of Blues Music Magazine, Paul Benjamin, Blues Booking Agent and Founder of the highly successful North
Atlantic Blues Festival, and Greg Herndon, President and Owner of Mojoe Productions, Inc., an interstate all-event production company which supplies
sound, stage and lighting for countless events all over the eastern USA.
Bobby
Rush, who has been performing for decades, has received numerous accolades
throughout his career, including Grammy Award nominations, and many nominations
and awards at the Blues Music Awards. Eden Brent is a Blues Music Award Winner in two categories: Acoustic Album of the
Year and Acoustic Artist of the Year. Zac Harmon was named Best New Artist Debut at the XM Nation Music Awards
and is an International Blues Challenge
Winner. Mr. Sipp is the 2014 International Blues Challenge Winner and
the 2014 Gibson Best Guitarist Award Winner.

open at 11:00 AM. TICKETS are $30 (through April 1, 2015). TICKETS will be $40
at the gate on the day of the event.
