On Saturday, March 1, from 6-9 p.m., jazz comes alive at the Casselberry’s Lake Concord Park, located at 95 Triplet Lake Drive. This FREE event, sponsored by the City of Casselberry and 107.7 HD-2 WLOQ Orlando’s Smooth Jazz, will entice all jazz lovers to gather and enjoy the contemporary sounds of recording and award winning jazz artist, Michael Lington.  http://www.michaellington.com

Lington is a charismatic saxophonist who has performed with other jazz superstars including Michael Bolton, Aaron Neville, Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, Bobby Caldwell, Christian Castro and many others. His torchy sax work is evident on his seven acclaimed albums, countless hit radio singles and hundreds of awe inspiring live performances over the past 15 years. These are all prelude to a new jazz album soon to be released in April 2014.

During the jazz concert, art lovers are invited to stop by Sculpture Center from 6- 8:30 p.m. and get a sneak preview of the upcoming exhibit of  What is…Urban Art? At Casselberry City Hall, the Experience Contemporary exhibit will showcase some of the finest contemporary artwork in Central Florida.

Various food vendors will be offering up culinary delights and other specialty items. Bring your blankets, chairs and lots of friends and celebrate an unforgettable evening of sensational  jazz with Michael Lington and 107.7 HD-2 WLOQ Orlando’s Smooth Jazz!
