Mustangs competing at Lake Sumpter |
The Eustis Middle School Mustangs have many community involvement accomplishments, but also practice hours have paid off . Not only do we have students that participate in multiple groups such as The Mustang Steel Drum Band but many of these students play multiple instruments and their success can be noted such as with the Eustis Mustang Jazz Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Gerald Ricke taking home straight superior ratings at the FBA District 19 Jazz Music Performance assessment on Thursday February 20, 2014. The band received straight A’s in all categories and the superior ratings from all three judges. This rating is in essence a perfect score. The Music performance assessment is like the FCAT for band.
