About This Year's Benefit:
|
While raising funds for and awareness about children with special needs in the Brevard County community for the last several years, I became aware of how many families in our own area are struggling to find a place to sleep and proper daily nourishment. This fact was a stark reminder of my own family's struggles with hunger in our native Cuba after Fidel Castro's rise. This year I decided to do something about families in need here in Brevard. The 7th Annual Brevard Jazz Series Benefit will raise funds and non-perishable food items going directly to Brevard families in need. I hope you, your family, and your friends will join in our cause.
