At only 29, Adrien Moignard has become the leading guitarist of le jazz hot tradition, which began with Django Reinhardt in the 1930's. With flawless technique, he has become the hottest performer in Paris' jazz manouche (Gypsy Jazz) clubs and DjangoFest events throughout the world. He will be accompanied by NYC-based bassist Sam Anning, who plays in French jazz singer Cyrille Aimee's band.

Moignard was born in 1985 in the southwest of France and started playing guitar at the age of 11, learning blues and rock guitar. He was playing in local bands by the age of 14. He discovered the music of Django Reinhardt at the age of 15 and fell in love with it instantly. After developing some of the skills of Reinhardt's style, he encountered musicians playing this so-called gipsy jazz and began to collaborate with them. At the age of 18, he joined a band called Gipsy Color, which performed all over France as well as several international Gypsy Jazz festivals.

He moved to Paris in 2005, where most of the Gypsy jazz musicians he was interested in playing with were to be found. There, he was introduced to modern jazz. He played in many jam sessions and clubs in Paris, and quickly became very popular in that genre. He started a band called Zaiti, which played all over France as well as in Australia, Norway, Denmark, Cyprus, Spain and elsewhere. Zaiti recorded a critically acclaimed album in 2008 called Still Time (Iris Music). This album achieved major popularity with the jazz manouche fans and in the jazz circuit as well. At this phase in his career, Adrien's own personal style began to develop.

In 2008, Adrien took part in a project called Selmer 607 – a reunion of top Gypsy-style guitar players, all playing guitars made by the famous Selmer company, which had made Django Reinhardt's instruments. In 2009 he was contacted by the Danish Radio Big Band to join them on a Django Reinhardt celebration project. Adrien recorded an album with them, Celebrating Django Reinhardt - DR Big Band & Adrien Moignard (EMI ). Following its success in Denmark, EMI released it in France to strong reviews. In 2010, Moignard recorded the first album under his name, All the Way (Dreyfus Jazz), which was nominated for several French jazz awards. The year 2010 being the 100th celebration of Django Reinhardt's birth, Adrien performed in many Django festivals around the globe.

In 2012, Adrien began his collaboration with French singer Cyrille Aimee. Friends since childhood, they began to perform in many festivals in France. In 2013, he sat in on Cyrille Aimee's first solo album. Moignard has been touring France and the U.S. extensively with Cyrille Aimee following the August, 2014, release of her CD It's a Good Day.
