Hollywood ArtsPark Experience presents the Florida debut of SpokFrevo Orquestra, the Brazilian big band sensation, touring the United States for the first time. Coming direct from their US premiere in New York’s Lincoln Center, this 17-musician outfit boasts saxophone, trumpet, trombone, rhythm sections, bass, and guitar draws inspiration from frevo, a vibrant music of elaborate arrangements and deep roots. The sound is tight and sophisticated, yet extremely raw and joyous as carnival itself. Don’t miss the wildly inventive jazz improvisation of SpokFrevo Orquestra at the Downtown Hollywood ArtsPark Amphitheater with FREE admission and parking.
