Eddie Higgins has the distinction of being the only performer to participate in EVERY Jazz Cruise since the inception.
In researching Mr. Higgins, we came across his discography and found a treasure trove of his personal insights into not only the jazz world at-large, which he is very much a part of, but also into many Florida recordings that partner him with the best players and most interesting places in Florida!

As a good friend of Eddie's and the person who compiled the above-mentioned discography, I can only join his other fans in the great loss of Eddie to the world of jazz. Normally, discographies do not include personal anecdotes for specific recording sessions, but I urged Eddie to write down his reflections so that his discography was different from the rest. He took the bit and ran with it and the result is a legacy that lets us glimpse his infectious humor, passion for his music, and sensitivity. Rest in peace, Eddie.
