PERFORMERS
Elaine Mahon
Gainesville, Florida native Elaine Mahon’s release of RISE, has been recognized by the acoustic music community as one of the top albums of 2013, receiving airplay from over sixty radio stations from around the world. An award-winning songwriter, Mahon forms an immediate and intimate emotional connection with her audience. With a sweet and resonant voice backed by deft guitar-work, Mahon delivers songs that are at once captivating and memorable. http://elainemahonmusic.com/

Alan Height
Alan's first instrument was a Hohner harmonica he received for his 7th birthday. At age 20, Alan began writing poetry. Something inside him had something to say, and he started saying it with music. Alan taught himself to play the guitar, and the poetry was destined to have music put to a rhythm. "I didn't want to sound like other musicians, so I stopped listening to the radio," Alan said. This is where Alan stands alone; just himself, his guitar and his harmonica. Now working on his forth CD, Alan has 3 other CD’s available, Home Town, Southman and Nature Sings. Alan is among the top folk artist in Ocala, FL

Brian Smalley
His first guitar at age 9 became his best friend, and traveling opened up a whole world to explore and create in. Brian has a special knack for putting together a musical set. Combining tasty covers and crowd pleasing original pieces, he plays with mad skills and pure energy. The songs Brian has written borrow from folksy flatpick guitar and new-grass as well as a touch of new-age acoustic music. He sings with a soulful, earthy voice, and his live performances tend to be just that: Lively! For the past twenty years Brian has made music his sole occupation, and has six CDs under his belt: his latest "Key" is an acoustic novel set in the Florida Keys telling the fictional story of Painter Kellet & Compass Rose. This CD is similar but very different from his acoustic novel from 2013 "Chickens Pigs" which is an acoustic play based in Civil War era Florida and was recently named Best Florida Folk CD of 2013 by the Florida Times-Union. https://www.reverbnation.com/briansmalley

Daryl Brewer
Daryl has been writing his own style of homemade folks songs for years. He calls them “Gator Songs for ya”. Living in Union County, Fl. There is plenty natural creativity he draws his ideas and songs from. Songs like “Jim Beam me Up, Train to Nowhere, Cowboys Lament and Sleeping on the Couch” to name a few. Daryl has kicked off every Farm to Family Concert since inception in 2005. His heart felt lyrics and woven into memorable melodies and sung with his southern twang are a joy to the eyes and the ears.

Don Austin
Born in North Texas and there began to play guitar at age 11, trained to sing by Janie Shook at age 13 and won UIL solo competitions 2 years in a row. Don went on to performed in many plays, musicals and many music projects such as the Kadody Bros,, Shakedown Street, Hard Rider and Teller County, Colorado's favorite band, The Fabulous D.T.'s. Then Don moved to Florida in 2000 and co-founded the Velveeta Underground which gained much popularity and the Alley Cats who later became the popular wedding band the Mellow D's which is still a viable entity. Don is presently doing a single act with guitar, violin and 30 string celtic harp. Also working on first album called "Can't Get Enough". Popular songs include the album namesake as well as "The Sunshine of Your Smile" and winner of the 2012 Santa Fe River Singing and Songwriting Contest "Up and Down the Santa Fe With You".

Sno Rogers
Sno Rogers has been around North Florida for 14 years and the configuration of the trio has changed over the years. Pete Price, Barbara Johnson, & Terry Miller are the current members performing as Sno Rogers. Sno Rogers is a fun high energy Americana Band! Each member plays in different bands at times but when the three of them come together magic happens. Playing everywhere in Florida from the High Springs own Pioneer Days, The Florida Folk Fest, Alachua Co Farmers Market (a good place to sing home grown tomatoes) Terry said. Now they are expanding their horizons.

H.R. Gertner
One part Hell Raiser and one part Holy Roller, H.R. writes and performs the kind of songs that cut through you like a shot of grain alcohol on a wild winter’s night; burning up your throat as it goes down, but the feeling is so damn good that you just gotta have another shot. Throwing together a heaping of Earle, a handful of Waits, and a dash of Hank III, H.R. makes a kind of music that makes all them city boys wish they were born in the country, and makes all them country boys wish they were born in the city. Now on his sixth CD, a follow up to his “torn at the Seams” CD which put HR on the folk and Americana map as an upcoming artist from the Gainesville, FL area. HR performs over 100 shows a year in the southern states.http://hrgertner.bandcamp.com/
