The SunSentinel posted this really great article by Bob Weinberg (The Real One) that covers the history of the festival and really does a great job of putting the event into a 'community' prespective. Be a part of that communty...come on out for some great music. That is all you have to do to show your support. Charlie

"Soon after the Riverwalk Blues & Music Festival began operating out of Bubier Park, event founder Don Cohen and business partner Sheldon Voss surveyed the bustling landscape from the Andrews Avenue Bridge. What had begun as an all-day party in the parking lot of Cohen's Musicians Exchange nightclub and music store had blossomed into a three-day, multi-stage affair, drawing ever-increasing audiences with legendary performers such as John Mayall, Buddy Guy and Albert Collins.

After a four-year hiatus, the event returns to the banks of the New River for its 21st edition, which takes place tonight through Sunday."
