The 4th FOCUS BRAZIL INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR is set to gather hundreds of Cultural leaders, professionals, students and media with FREE Registration on our site. One of the most relevant Brazilian Cultural Event in the United States, the FOCUS-BRAZIL 2009, 4th Brazilian International Culture & Media Seminar, will take place on May 7th, 8th and 9th this year, once again at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Great Music Experts are gathered on a discussion panel about Brazilian Music. This panel is a MUST see to any singer, musician or music producer in south Florida. This Panel will be discussing the ins and outs of this difficult but exhilarating industry we have the pleasure to live in. The panel is comprised of a renowned New York author of the book “Brazilian Music and Dance in the United States” – Jason Stanyek, The Maestro Arranger and winner of the 2009 Press Awards as Outstanding Brazilian Musician in the United States – Marcelo Cesena, Record Label President, the world largest record label, specialized in Brazilian Music for the international markets – Raymundo Bittencourt, Radio personality and producer of Brazilian Music event in the USA – Gene de Souza; And at the top of the hour we will have Toquinho answer questions from the participants for one hour. This panel will be answering questions that are vital for any artist volunteering or working in the Music Field in Florida. (Simultaneous translation to English available FREE of charge)

The BRAZILIAN MUSIC & MUSICIANS IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET PANEL will take place in the New River Room, at the complex of Broward Center for the Performing Art, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Friday 8th of May. Pre-Registrations can be made @ www.focusbrazil.com

The delegations from all over the world such as Japan, South Korea, Australia, England, Canada, Germany, Holland, Spain, Portugal, Angola, France, Belgium and Cuba have already confirmed their presence to the event. The Universities of Texas, New York, UCLA, Columbia and Harvard have also confirmed, through their respective departments of studies and Brazilian culture, participation in the event.

In its preceding editions, FOCUS BRAZIL INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR attracted over 4,000 participants superseding our expectation. The organization of the event foresees an expressive growth for the event for 2009 due to the increased level of interest expressed by academic, entrepreneurial, and cultural institutions from several parts of the United States and other countries.
