The Bradenton Blues Festival Weekend will be held at the Bradenton Riverwalk Pavilion at Rossi Park on Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, with an outstanding lineup of talented blues musicians on the big stage. In addition to amazing music, you can purchase local craft beer and wine, delicious food, and cool festival merchandise. The weekend wraps up with a tasty and soulful Bradenton Blues Brunch prepared by award-winning Chef Paul Mattison on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022. Come and experience the blues in Bradenton!

Blue Tavern is a bar/coffeehouse/music venue in Midtown within easy walking
distance from Levy and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine, 
coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art, 
without TV or canned music.

Menu includes New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice with andouille sausage, 
gumbo, vegan soup and vegan sandwich, grilled cheese sandwiches, 
grilled ham / cheese sandwiches, and pressed Cuban sandwiches all at 
very affordable prices. And now occasional special offerings.
Draft, craft and domestic beer, wine and champagne, soft drinks, 
and of course coffee are always a moment away!

All shows after 9/17/2022 are cancelled this includes the Wisconsin Harmonica Festival on November 18, 2022.  The Wisconsin Harmonica Festival is a great festival and hopefully next year we'll be able to do the show.  Benny Rickun is the headliner and Big Al and the Blues Howlers will be backing him up.  Not only is Al a fine harmonica player he's a really good blues guitarist to boot.  So please support Wisconsin Blues on that night and get your tickets.

Guitarist Nate Najar is making it known world-wide that he is one of this decade’s finest modern jazz exponents, and not by saying it, but rather playing it. He uses a distinctive technique to convey his artistic prowess- not many artists play acoustic classical guitar with right hand classical technique, yet it is the perfect choice for Najar’s comprehensive approach. Not restricted to single notes or chords, Nate seamlessly weaves melody, harmony and rhythmic freedom. The result is music that is swinging, emotional, inventive and interesting.

Recorded on August 25th and 26th of 2021 at Najar’s studio in
 Largo, Florida, Jazz Samba Pra Sempre is a joyful salute to a
bossa nova classic. “We really had a ball making this record,” said
the accomplished fingerstyle guitarist. “It was one of the most
joyous and easiest times I’ve had making a jazz record. It was
two days of just, ‘This is what we’re all here to do.’ And man,
what a good time we had.”

Daniela Soledade is a rising star among legends in the Brazilian music scene. An heir to the throne of bossa nova, Soledade is highly acclaimed for her poignantly expressive vocal style and hyper-intimate aesthetic.
