The UCF School of Performing Arts will present its annual All-State Preparation Clinic on Saturday, August 29, 2026, offering middle and high school student musicians an opportunity to strengthen their audition skills for the 2026-2027 Florida Music Educators' Association (FMEA) All-State auditions.
The in-person clinic will be held at the UCF School of Performing Arts, 12488 Centaurus Blvd., Orlando, FL 32816-2372, and is designed for students preparing for Florida Bandmasters Association (FBA) and Florida Orchestra Association (FOA) All-State Band, Orchestra, and Jazz Band auditions.
Participants will receive instruction from UCF applied music faculty and distinguished guest instrumentalists, with clinics tailored to the audition requirements for:
- FBA All-State Band (Grades 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12)
- FOA All-State Orchestra (Grades 7–8, 9–10, and 11–12)
- FBA All-State Jazz Band (Grades 9–12)
The clinic emphasizes the skills that play an important role in successful auditions, including All-State exercise preparation, tone production, technical development, scales, sight-reading strategies, and overall audition readiness. Students will have the opportunity to receive focused guidance from experienced educators familiar with the expectations of Florida's competitive All-State audition process.

Pre-registration is available until 5:00 p.m. (ET) on Friday, August 28, 2026. Students who miss the advance registration deadline may still participate through walk-in registration on the day of the clinic.
