Tucked in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Evergreen, CO is a beautiful mountain town situated West of Denver. At an elevation of 7200 feet, Evergreen is situated next to Lake Evergreen, which boasts holding the record for being one of the top 10 most scenic for ice skating in the world. The city is surrounded by a lush forest that is alive with wildlife. Truly a picturesque town offering an energy all its own where you can enjoy art galleries, live music, eateries and shopping.
My visit to Evergreen included a stop at Little Bear Saloon. Little Bear Saloon is know across the country for its' atmosphere and live music scene. Inside the Little Bear Saloon you can see evidence of all the music patrons form the past fifty plus years!! The evening enjoyment included listening to phenomenal music by Jack Hadley, a talented blues performer, song writer, and all around good human. As a child, Jack's mother gave him a guitar to "keep him busy", unleashing his natural talent to learn play by hearing the notes. His smooth vocals, graceful presence and crazy guitar skills make for an electrifying and energizing night! You will be on your feet and dancing in no time.
