Dr. Jules Gliesche is a part-time Senior Lecturer in Linguistics at the University of Florida specializing in Historical Germanic Linguistics. He is a strong proponent of keeping the Blues alive by actually playing the Blues, and also devotes significant time to studying the history of the Blues and highlighting the musical contributions and innovations of original Blues artists whose work has been borrowed without giving them either proper credit or financial compensation.
