of the last 15 years!” ~ NYT

JOSHUA REDMAN
QUARTET
Joshua Redman, saxophone
Aaron Goldberg, piano
Ben Williams, bass
Obed Calvaire, drums

Grammy-nominated saxophone master Joshua Redman is renowned for his sound and his boundless creativity. In this highly-anticipated performance, Joshua performs with the legendary quartet, two of who were featured on his seminal 2000 recording, Beyond. Released when Josh was just 30, Beyond and its follow-up release, Passage of Time, signaled a new level of creativity and emotional depth for this amazing virtuoso and his bandmates. In the nearly 20 years since then, Josh has deepened his musical relationship with all of these colleagues, collectively and individually.

Joining Redman are jazz pianist Aaron Goldberg, who's been hailed by DownBeat Magazine for his "quick-witted harmonic reflexes, fluid command of line and cut-to-the-chase sense of narrative logic"; acclaimed Grammy Award-winning bassist Ben Williams, recipient of the DownBeat Magazine Critics Poll Rising Star Award for Bass in 2013 & 2015; and Miami native, drummer Obed Calvaire, who's performed and recorded with artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Eddie Palmieri, David Foster, and many more.

Expect an exceptional performance from this group of musicians, who have redefined the jazz quartet genre.
