Legendary pianist Larry Harlow is a noted salsa bandleader and multi-instrumentalist. Experience the magic when they come together for this special show!      ...and now, a very special announcement!  BESSIE IS BACK!  “The Devils Music - The Life & Blues of Bessie Smith”  - A Play with Music  Book by Angelo Parra, Directed by Genie Croft  Featuring the spectacular Avery Sommers After rave reviews and many requests, “The Devils Music" will return to Arts Garage from May 5- May 29. Set in Memphis in 1937, The Devil’s Music explodes with the  classic tunes Bessie Smith made famous including: I Ain’t Got Nobody, T’aint Nobody’s Business, There’ll Be A Hot Time in the Old Town Tonight and St. Louis Blues. SPECIAL NON-PROFIT EVENTS THIS WEEK AT ARTS GARAGE:   MILAGRO CENTER presents SUPERSTAR SPECTACULAR SHOWCASE Wed. April 20, 7-10pm  Milagro Center's annual fundraiser features Master Magician & Illusionist Gary Midnight and musical performances by Milagro’s own Superstars.  Please support this special event, where 100% of the proceeds will provide quality after school and summer camp programming for Milagro Center’s students.  SWING FOR HABITAT - Celebrating 25 Years  Thurs. April 21, 6:30-10:30pm  This special fundraiser benefitting Habitat for Humanity includes drinking, dining, and dancing to your favorite jazz and swing tunes!  The evening will commence with a cocktail reception and silent auction before moving into the ballroom for dinner and live music.
