A triple threat - singer, pianist and songwriter - Tony DeSare has won critical and popular acclaim from his concert performances throughout the United States as well as Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. DeSare performs with infectious joy, wry playfulness, and robust musicality and his sound is romantic, swinging yet sensual. His take on classic standards and sophisticated original compositions have earned him a reputation as one of country’s hottest young singer/pianists.
DeSare’s newest CD, Piano, was released in October of this year and includes covers of classic and contemporary jazz featuring DeSare’s unique spin. One of the songs featured on the Piano CD, Chemistry, recently won first place in the jazz category and second place overall at the USA Songwriting Competition.
Tickets are available for this
concert at the Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office. For further information
call the Gold Coast Jazz Society at 954-524-0805 or online www.goldcoastjazz.org
