The 2nd Annual Blues and Wine Festival is just around the corner — Friday, May 21st, Saturday, May 22nd and Sunday, May 23rd at the historic Lakeside Inn downtown Mount Dora. Ticket sales have been very good and we are expecting a record crowd!
The Festival has added a Blues Brothers Contest for Friday night — bring your costume & “air guitar” and be ready to hit the stage! T Scott Walker and the Nightly Blues Band will play Friday night and back up the contest entrants.
The 3-day music line-up includes headliners Beautiful Bobby Blackmon and Miss Jacqueline Jones, along with Shaun Rounds, Apple Mary’s Blues, Selwyn Birchwood & Deuces Wild with guest R. J. Harmon, T Scott TropRockers Blues Band, Rent Money Blues Band (will be doing a jam on Sunday). Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, sit back and relax — rain or shine!
The Lakeside Inn Tea Garden is the place to be for the wine tasting on Saturday from 3 - 5 pm — included in your ticket price. Sample premiere wines from national vineyards and local wine sellers.
Three-Day Event Tickets $48 in advance! Ticket prices at the door — Friday night Welcome Party and Blues Brothers Contest tickets are $8 (5-8pm); Saturday $36 (3-9 pm); and Sunday $12 (noon-3pm).
