Its main goal is to establish and maintain a physical place for Jazz enthusiasts, students, and the public at-large that would serve as a vital archive source of information that documents and celebrates the history of Jazz in Miami with images and literary essays/biographies of artists in the visual and musical performing arts, places, artifacts and recordings--all things that have made a significant contribution to the culture of Jazz in Miami and surrounding area.
