Jazz at Pinecrest Gardens opens its new season on Saturday, November 7, 2026, with Allyson Briggs & The Dan Gabel Big Band presenting America: Together in Harmony in the Banyan Bowl Amphitheater. The performance marks the final stop on the ensemble's America 250 Tour, bringing an evening of classic jazz, Great American Songbook favorites, and big band swing to South Florida.

Known as "The Glamour Girl of Jazz," vocalist Allyson Briggs joins trombonist, arranger, and bandleader Dan Gabel and his orchestra for a program celebrating the music and traditions of the golden age of American popular song. Set beneath the stars in Pinecrest Gardens' intimate outdoor amphitheater, the concert combines Briggs' distinctive vocal style with the sound of a full big band.

About Allyson Briggs

Since establishing herself on the New York jazz scene more than a decade ago, Allyson Briggs has developed an international career as a vocalist and bandleader. Performing in as many as seven languages, including Spanish, German, and French, she brings a diverse repertoire and an appreciation for classic American popular music to her performances.

Briggs has collaborated with Michael Feinstein, Ciara RenΓ©e, and Catherine Russell, and has opened performances for Lionel Richie and Paris Hilton. Her appearances include Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and Birdland Jazz Club. Feinstein has described her as "one of the most incredible talents out there today."

Her 2024 album, Promises, Prayers, and Raindrops: Allyson Briggs Sings Burt Bacharach, topped jazz charts that year. Her career recognition includes five Cabaret Artist of the Year nominations from BroadwayWorld and the 2022 Female Entertainer of the Year Award from Taino Nation. She has also appeared on Telemundo, Univision, and PIX 11 News.
