Making their Orlando debut, the Django Festival All-Stars bring the spirit and swing of legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt to Judson’s Live at Dr. Phillips Center on Saturday and Sunday, November 7–8, 2026, with four performances presented by the Central Florida Jazz Society, supported by Douglas Glicken.

Led by guitarist Samson Schmitt, son of renowned gypsy jazz guitarist Dorado Schmitt, this internationally recognized acoustic ensemble carries the musical traditions of 1930s Parisian jazz into contemporary performances. The group's sound combines lead and rhythm guitars, violin, accordion, and bass, reflecting the influence of Reinhardt and violinist Stéphane Grappelli while incorporating original compositions.

The five-member touring ensemble features Samson Schmitt (lead guitar), Ludovic Beier (accordion and accordina), Pierre Blanchard (violin), Antonio Licusati (bass), and Francko Mehrstein (rhythm guitar).

The Orlando engagement is part of the Django Festival All-Stars' 2026–2027 tour, which continues with appearances at the Django Reinhardt New York Festival at Dizzy's Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center, November 11–15, followed by engagements in Houston, San Francisco, and Oregon. The group is also touring in support of its new 2026 Motéma Music album, Evolution, featuring original compositions written and arranged by members of the ensemble.

The Django Festival All-Stars' only scheduled appearances in Florida, Georgia, or Alabama on their 2026–2027 tour make Orlando a destination for jazz enthusiasts from throughout the region. Judson's Live at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts offers an intimate setting for experiencing this internationally acclaimed ensemble.
