Latin Jazz & Art Fest
The Rico Monaco Band with special guest star Tito Puente Jr. will headline Casselberry’s Latin Jazz and Art Festival on Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lake Concord Park behind City Hall at 95 Triplet Lake Drive. Monaco is an award-winning guitarist, songwriter, producer, and band leader. He has led his band with great success to shows in Paris, France, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Dallas, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and many other concert locations. Rico’s performance abilities, songwriting and production skills paved the way for his band to win numerous awards. Rico Monaco Band’s record release in 2019 with special guest star, Tito Puente Jr., features the title song "Hey Tito", as a tribute to the late great Tito Puente. Puente Jr. carries the maestro’s name, infectious smile, larger than life spirit, bravura showmanship and passion for sharing Latin jazz with the world. His determination to continue his dad’s momentum exposes the big band mamba sounds to those who did not experience the essence of Latin music created by his father.

Casselberry's Country Rock and Rides
Legendary country rock band Pure Prairie League headlines Casselberry’s Country Rock and Rides show on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at Lake Concord Park. The event begins at 4 p.m. with the car show and ends with PPL headlining the great day with hit music.
From their beginnings in the mid-1960s as a group of friends playing cover tunes to the present-day unit featuring founding member/pedal-steel innovator John David Call, veteran bassist Mike Reilly, propulsive drummer Scott Thompson and guitar ace Donnie Clark, Pure Prairie League continues to embellish the rich 43-year history of one of country rock’s pioneering forces. In 1975 the band scored its biggest hit with the single "Amie", a track that originally appeared on their 1972 album Bustin' Out. Pure Prairie League scored five consecutive Top 40 LPs in the 1970s and added a sixth in the 1980s. They disbanded in 1988 but regrouped in 1998 and continue to perform today. Besides Pure Prairie League, the opening act is Nashville recording artist Bailey Callahan, who has opened for Luke Combs, Hunter Hayes, Eric Church, Billy Rae Cyrus, Scotty McCreery.
The event will kick-off at 4 p.m. with about 100 classic cars that will be on display around Lake Concord Park. Sponsored by Cruisin’ Orlando, these cars are sure to bring back many fond memories of the past. Besides the great music and cars, there also will be 5 food trucks and product vendors on site.
