Blue Tavern is a bar/coffeehouse/music venue in Midtown within easy walking
distance from Levy and Lafayette Park neighborhoods. Serving beer, wine,
coffee, tea, and sodas -- a perfect quiet spot to enjoy conversation, reading, art,
without TV or canned music.
Menu includes New Orleans style red-beans-and-rice with andouille sausage,
gumbo, vegan soup and vegan sandwich, grilled cheese sandwiches,
grilled ham / cheese sandwiches, and pressed Cuban sandwiches all at
very affordable prices. And, we have draft, craft and domestic beer, wine
and champagne, soft drinks, and of course coffee!
