The Grammy Award-nominated Latin Jazz pianist Antonio Adolfo,joins forces with the South Florida Jazz Orchestra for this great
musical tribute Latin Jazz. The South Florida Jazz Orchestra, led
by Chuck Bergeron, is a modern Big Band comprised of some of
the best Jazz musicians, studio musicians, and Jazz educators in
the southeast who have performed and toured with many of the
greatest artists in Jazz and Popular music.

the 21st Century Trad Band
The youngest sibling of Wynton, Branford, and Delfeayo. Together,the 21st Century Trad Band
the four brothers and father Ellis comprise New Orleans’s venerable
first family of jazz and are recipients of the National Endowment for
the Arts 2011 Jazz Masters awards. Jason Marsailis is well
known for his prodigal drumming and as a bandleader from the
vibraphone chair. His own playing is unique, drawing from a wide
range of influences. He performs original music as well as many
hidden gems in the jazz literature and beyond and covers a wide
range of moods, rhythms, and emotions.

Paquito D’Rivera has won 14 Grammy Awards and has over30 solo recordings to his credit. He is a recipient of the National
Medal of the Arts, the Living Jazz Legend Award and designated
as an NEA Jazz Master The Shelly Berg Trio is comprised of Shelly
Berg on piano, Chuck Bergeron on bass and John Yarling on drums.

Rickey Woodard, John Clayton and Barbara Morrison. Tamir

The 2018-19 series includes jazz for all tastes featuring a host of talented jazz artists. All concerts will be presented at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Full season subscriptions are available at a substantial discount from single ticket purchases and Jazz Trio subscriptions (3 concerts of your choice) are available by calling the Gold Coast Jazz Society at (954)524-0805. The Gold Coast Jazz Society is a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of jazz music through a mainstage concert series, free community concerts, educational programs, a jazz scholarship program and musical services provided by the Gold Coast Jazz Society Band.
Single tickets for each concert are available at the Broward Center’s AutoNation Box Office at 954-462-0222 or online at www.browardcenter.org. Student and teacher tickets are $10 with valid ID for most concerts.
