Originally from Bogotá, Colombia, classically-trained musician Daniel Girón, brings to the Tampa Bay music scene, a solid foundation as a soulful guitarist. His music has evolved to become a confluence of Spanish flamenco guitar, with jazz and Latin rhythms. In this concert, the modern sound of his Spanish guitar will join the sounds of outstanding trumpet, cello, bass, and Latin percussion performers. The ensemble will present Girón’s newest album, PRISMA, featuring his own compositions, as well as covers of popular songs by well-known musicians, including Ennio Morricone, Sting, and Michael Jackson. Join Daniel for an unforgettable evening of great music.
