“The hottest southpaw in the blues.” – Guitar One Magazine

Montoya is a self taught guitar slinger who plays with an emotional intensity few string benders possess. Playing left-handed and upside down like Albert King, Montoya has proved himself to be a world-class guitar master.

“The ridiculously magical Memphis up-side-down magician.” – Okay Player

Eric Gales’ passionate left-handed prowess recalls to string-bending greats of yesteryear, such as Jimi Hendrix and Albert King. Gales grew up in a musical household with older brothers Eugene and Manuel who introduced him to blues music at a young age. His expansive 30+ year career includes performances with Carlos Santana, Victor Wooten, Doug Wimbish, Thomas Pridgen (of the Mars Volta),   as well as several appearances on The Arsenio Hall Show. In 2015, Gibson Guitars named Eric Gales as #4 in their list of Top 10 Modern Blues Guitarists. Most recently, he performed with Ms. Lauryn Hill on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. A figure of biting six-string power, Gales stands on the head and shoulders above other guitarists in his genre.

“Guitarist Chambers achieves the distinctly American blues/soul/country/rock sound that the Stones used to aspire to long ago.”– Jerry Shriver, USA TODAY

Florida born, Sean Chambers’ ferocity has solidified his place in today’s blues scene. His sharp vocals and daring playing earned him a spot touring with the legendary Hubert Sumlin as his guitarist and band leader from 1998-2003. Britain’s own Guitarist magazine named Chambers as “One of the top 50 blues guitarists of the last century.” In 2003, Chambers was asked to headline the prestigious Maryport Blues Festival. Most recently, he released The Rock House Sessions. This groundbreaking album features a number of firsts: it’s the first album Chambers has recorded as Sean Chambers rather than the Sean Chambers Band; it’s the first time is legendary keyboard player Reese Wynans (best-known for his long tenure as a member of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s band); and it’s the first recording exclusively using studio musicians, as Sean and Reese drew from the deep talent-laden pool of Nashville musicians and songwriters.

“Betty’s vocal range soars and her emotion, soul and power are something to behold front row and center.” – East Coast Blues News

With an extensive background in gospel and a lifelong passion for soul music, Betty Fox has come a long way from her southern roots to headlining festivals and captivating thousands with her raw swagger and unwavering talent. Now the 2015 representative of the Suncoast Blues Society, an International Blues Challenge Finalist, and two-time winner of Creative Loafing’s “Best of the Bay”, she is truly proving herself a force to be reckoned with.

“A mesmerizing performer, with a voice for the ages” – Blues Music Magazine

Soul Singer Lauren Mitchell follows her musical heart. While her first solo singing performance started in church as a child, she has since crafted a singular, unmistakable voice in the world of blues, citing both Etta James and Janis Joplin as profoundly influencing her sound. “Our music is definitely more soul that straight blues,” she states.

The Lauren Mitchell Band is a tour de force, performing around 250 shows per year around the world. Lauren put together the stellar blues group, led by “The Professor” Michael Hensley, along with several seasoned veteran players, in 2011. Her musical education in soul and blues began at an early age, inspired by her parents’ favorite artists, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Gladys Knight and Fatz Waller. Since then, Lauren sang opera and theater music through college, and has since come a long way: She’s now a touring, professional blues singer, fronting a band and wowing audiences along the way. Audiences that know her, love her, and are sure she’s succeeding in every musical way.

With a powerhouse sound of Paramore fused with the rhythmic mellow of Sublime, Yärdij has quickly garnered statewide recognition and success despite being a relatively new band. In 2015, they opened up for Lenny Kravitz at Florida’s Sunfest, performed on the main stage at Florida Music Festival and competed in Hard Rock Cafe’s Hard Rock Rising competition, where they are currently competing as one of the final acts. They were also dubbed Winner of Broward County’s Duende Amp Fest’s Battle of the Bands. Yardij fuses strong guitar rhythms over the powerful and melodic sound of Deja Elyse without the romantic hangover.
