The disk contains nine songs penned by Joel and one cover of Jimi Hendrix, a seminal influence on this artist. With a fresh approach his writing style on this CD ranges from wild Blues Party to deeply personal.  Joel dips into the rich South Florida talent pool singing a call and return duo with BMA nominee, Albert Castiglia on the track "Hard Time".  Then you see DaSilva's imaginative depth with a push from technology bringing him to perform with  his parents on the cut "Heart of My Father".  The  father Joel never got to meet.

Some may remember Joel DaSilva from his stint spanning ten years as frontman and guitarist from the popular South Florida band, The Hep Cat Boo Daddies, who released two well received CD's and represented SFBS at  the IBC in Memphis in 2005. Joel toured with IBC champion, Grady Champion and shared the stage with B.B. King and Jeff Beck as well as performing with J.J. Grey & Matt "Guitar" Murphy. Joel's earliest onstage performances include playing in the legendary Regulators band when he was still in his teens.

The complete list of Musicians includes:
Drummer Chris Peet from “J.P. Soars and the Red Hots”
Bassist A.J. Kelly from “Albert Castiglia” and “Johnny Nitro and the Doorslammers”
Hammond B3 Keyboardist “Joe Sant’Angelo
Bassist Kevin Simonelic from “Jason Thomas”
Stefano Rotati from “The Midnight Howl”
The CD was recorded and mixed at “Studio M31” and engineered by the fabulous Yves Giraud.
Produced by Yves Giraud and Joel DaSilva.
