The 3^rd Annual Blues Bash is scheduled for November 19^th starting at 4PM featuring five great local artists and will last well into the evening hours.  In the past this has benefitted some really great causes and this year it is to benefit the actual performers.  In today’s struggling economy performing bands rarely get paid any more than they did 25 years ago and this event is hoping to start a new tradition where the bands actually share directly in the show’s success.

If successful, this event will continue at least once a year and possibly twice. (Spring & Fall)

This event is weather dependant, so bad weather is not an option.

This year’s lineup consists of:

Dan Heitz & The Revelators:  A young guitar slinger that at 15 is already lighting up stages throughout central Florida with his hot licks and some original material. (Band features Dan Heitzhausen, Bill Bairley & Scott Hazen)

Rob Mola & His Premieres: Local blues guitar hero who know how to swing as well as digging down deep into some traditional blues as well. (Band features Steve Baker & Steve Plotnick)

Jeff Willey Blues Band: Former leader & found of both the Smokin’ Torpedoes (Two Time CFBC Winners) & Houseshakers, performing traditional good time blues music. (Band features Tom Sharp, Tom Bastedo & Mike Quick)

RJ Harman & Company:  Nationally recognized harmonica player with a band that performs blues standards as well as smokin’ originals.  A crowd favorite and recent winner of the  Orlando CFBC. (Band features Rachel Masri, Chris Valone, Nick Holcomb & Will Vazoso)

Bird Dog Bobby Blues Band: A local guitar hero and owner of Bird Dogs Music House & Vintage Repair, this band has a great self produced CD of all originals and will be performing these songs and other blues rock edged material for your listening pleasure.  A Chuluota favorite! (Band features Reno Mussato & Gary Whitehead)

Lawn Chairs Recommended - No Coolers - Free Parking - Full Liquor, Beer & Wine

The Orange Blossom Blues Society will be in attendance all day and seeking new memberships so bring your friends, family and loved ones!
