SOUTH FLORIDA'S BLUES COMMUNITY SUPPORTS

THROUGH A BENEFIT CONCERT

Jerry Crepeau of Sound Touch, is organizing a blues benefit concert to raise money for Kids in Distress. On May 17, 2009, an impressive selection of top Blues bands, from South Florida and beyond, will play continuously from 2 p.m. to midnight. Free massage therapy will be available on-site throughout the event, as well as food and drinks. A silent auction will run from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. An entrance fee of $20 pre-paid or $25 at the door will be donated directly to Kids in Distress. 2-4-1 drink specials and South Florida Blues Society $5 member discount.

Kids in Distress, founded in 1979, is a nationally accredited agency dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, preservation of the family and the care and treatment of abused and neglected children. We are the only agency in the area that offers such a wide array of services under one umbrella. In fact, there are few groups in the country that are so versatile. Our services touch 6,500 of the most vulnerable children in South Florida each year and Sound Touch, along with the participation of many fine musicians, is proud to raise awareness and support for such an admirable charity.


Come enjoy a fun-filled Sunday, hear great live blues, get a massage, and just have a wonderful time, knowing that the nominal entrance fee of $20 goes to an organization that works every day 24/7 to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and their families right here in our backyard.
