Quartet
Ashley Pezzotti is a rising star in the New York jazz scene, blending the elegance, rhythmic sophistication, and infectious joy of the great jazz vocalists who came before her. Just in her 20s, Pezzotti has already made her mark, touring and recording with jazz legends like Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), and icons such as Arturo Sandoval, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and piano prodigy Joey Alexander. Her unique vocal mastery has earned rave reviews.

Ashley's Quartet includes Matt Wigler on piano, Jamie Ousley on bass and Lucas Aposteleres on drums.
Due to circumstances beyond our control, Michael Kaeshammer, the jazz artist scheduled for Feb 12, 2025, will be unable to perform his concert for the Gold Coast Jazz Society. While we are extremely disappointed about Michael, we have been very fortunate to engage another fabulous artist for this jazz concert. The amazing jazz vocalist, Ashley Pezzotti and the Matt Wigler Trio will perform on Wed. Feb. 12 with a concert of wonderful jazz and Valentine related music. We know that you will enjoy this concert. Ashley performed for us with the South Florida Jazz Orchestra in the 2023 season and the audience raved about her performance.

WARREN WOLF QUINTET
Warren Wolf is a multi-instrumentalist. From the age of three years old, Warren has been trained on the Vibraphone/Marimba, Drums, and Piano. Warren is currently the drummer of choice for Alto Saxophonist Tia Fuller, who tours with internationally renowned pop star Beyonce Knowles. Warren is also a member of the Donal Fox Group which includes bassist John Lockwood and drummers Dafnis Preito and Terri Lyne Carrington.

Tony DeSare performs with infectious joy, wry playfulness, and robust musicality. Souza’s singing has been called “transcendental, “perfect, “and of unparalleled beauty.” Her work as a performer transcends traditional musical boundaries, offering solid roots in jazz, sophisticated world music, and an enlightened approach to new music. She has performed and recorded with greats including Herbie Hancock, Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bobby McFerrin, Maria Schneider, Danilo Perez, and many others. Her longstanding duo work with Brazilian guitarist Romero Lubambo has earned her accolades across the globe.
The Gold Coast Jazz Society 2024-2025 concert series promises to enchant and uplift with a fabulous array of incredible, classical jazz that is innovative and creative; some straight-ahead, some variations of old favorites; and some modern interpretations, conducted by a cast of international artists and outstanding local musicians. All concerts will be presented at the Amaturo Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, 201 SW 5th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale (MAP) and begin at 7:45pm.
Season subscriptions and single tickets for each concert are now available and can be purchased online. For subscription information and to become a member, go to www.goldcoastjazz.org. Student and teacher tickets are $15 with valid ID. A discount for groups of ten or more is also available.
