is presenting a Benefit Concert for Hurricane 

Relief on October 1, 2017.  

Sunday, October 1, 2017 ~ Noon

A minimum donation of $5 per person at the gate (if possible) is requested. There will be prize  raffles and 50/50 drawings.

All proceeds of the event will benefit the Bonita Springs Assistance Office (http://www.bonitaassistance.org).  The Bonita Springs Assistance Office has been serving the Bonita Springs community for over 38 years.   They have been helping victims of the Imperial River flooding and the impact of hurricane Irma daily since August 28, 2017.   They receive no funding from the state or local government.  They rely on private donations, and special events like the Bonita Blues Festival.   They provide temporary assistance to Bonita residents who have been affected by an unexpected crisis. They provide food, diapers, healthy weekend meals for low income children, cleaning supplies, water, toiletries, emergency financial assistance for medication, housing, utilities, and home repairs to the below poverty level families with children including fixed income seniors and veterans.   For every dollar raised they receive 8 dollars in purchasing power for food thru their partnership with Harry Chapin Food Bank.  They are currently in need of financial support to help residents post Irma.  100% of this special blues music fundraiser

will go directly into the hands of families who desperately need help.  Many of the families impacted by Irma live in lowest income pockets of the city and have no proper insurance coverage on their destroyed homes and vehicles.  They have lost wages and many who work in the local agriculture industry will be impacted for the next 6 months.
