The monthly Sunshine Jazz Concert Series
continues on the fourth Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Miami Shores Country Club from
6:00pm until 9:00pm. This month we invite you to bring your dancing shoes
because you’re in for a treat! The music menu features spicy Latin jazz by EddyBalzola & ORIENTE, plus extra special Soul Sax added by Miami’s own JesseJones, Jr.!
An explosive
celebration of melody, rhythm & soul, ORIENTE debuted in New Orleans at
Snug Harbor. The crowd loved their signature hard-driving yet melodic Cuban
roots innovations, blending Afro-Latin rhythms with jazz, blues and global
influences, colored by Eddy’s creative arrangements, poetry and melodic guitar
phrasing. South Fla Jazz Hall of Fame inductee, Jesse Jones, Jr. has a rhythmic
style and soul that just meshes with Eddy’s groove perfectly, and they enjoy
every opportunity to collaborate.
ORIENTE maintains a
busy show schedule of festivals, theaters, private parties etc. They
represented S. Florida’s original music at the SoBe Wine & Food Fest live
filming of Chef Bobby Flay’s Food Network show, and are featured in the
award-winning International travel show “Music Voyager”, seen on PBS and cable
stations worldwide. The band will also feature four of Miami’s best musicians
including long-time band mates Stuart King on Trumpet and Orlando Machado on
trap Drums, along with Eduardo Rodriguez on Percussion and Rafael Valencia on
Bass.
